This device
Your current Bridges stay private. If you are signed in, you can open the same Bridges on another phone or computer. Your profile is how you come back as you.
How privacy works
Your raw writing stays yours. The other person never sees it. A shared version is only made from summaries you both confirm, and only if you both agree to combine them. If we let you know they have responded, we never include what they wrote. Removing a Bridge from this device does not delete it for them.
How your data is stored
Bridges Between Us uses Supabase to keep your account and your Bridges private, so you can come back later.
Your profile (name, email, photo, phone, and how you like to be contacted) is kept with your sign-in, separate from Bridge writing. Conversation records use internal IDs, not your email or name.
Bridge writing is encrypted in transit and when it is stored. Other people using the app can only open Bridges they are part of. There is no admin screen for reading conversations. Writing is opened on our servers only when you ask for AI help, such as a reflection or a shared summary.
If you start or join a Bridge while signed in, you can open it again on another device from Your Bridges or with the same code.
History is optional, and only uses shared summaries you both confirmed. Research use stays off unless you switch it on. We do not copy private conversation content into a research set.
